How to update iPhone (after jailbreak with baseband 06.15.00) to newer software version, error fix problems

  I often downgrade and update my iPhone 3G. And that is “Always”. By using Windows 7, things went well. But for Mac OSX I have never tried, never one time but one step and eventually crash in the middle of the journey. And you know why? “Not accustomed to”. Yes, now I'm still on Windows 7. Let's start reading again ...

1. Connect the iPhone to the computer.
2. Open iTunes.

3. Synch your iPhone with iTunes.
4. Click update, then wait until iTunes has finished processing the iPhone OS.
5. Warning message will appear again “error occurred (1015)” on iTunes, click OK, then click OK again. This may have something problematic between iTunes with your computer. But it does not matter, let’s continue.

6. To overcome this, now download “TinyUmbrella v4.21.08”
7. Open “TinyUmbrella v4.21.08”.
8. Select “Advanced” and then check the ..., see image 2.2.4.

9. On the “General”, click “iPhone” or the name of your iPhone.
10. Then click “Exit Recovery”, “Start TSS Server”, iTunes will automatically turn off.
11. See your iPhone, after a successful exit from recovery mode, click the “Stop TSS Server”, then reopen iTunes.
